Sports betting giant Betway will host a massive sports journalism conference in Accra, Ghana, this September in a bid to ensure the Ghanaian sports media fraternity makes the most of the digital age!

The event, with its theme being “Repositioning Ghanaian Sports Journalism in the Digital Age,” aims to ensure that the main media houses, journalists, bloggers, sports writers and pundits that ply their trade in Ghana or have a keen interest in the ongoings on our sporting industry effectively position themselves in terms of branding and also utilise the various digital tools that exist to bring out the best in accurate yet compelling sports coverage!

When is the event being held? And who are the moderators?

The Sports Journalism Conference will take place on Wednesday, the 24th of September 2025, inside the Omanye Hall at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra. The event is scheduled to run from 9 AM to 1 PM, and it will be moderated by Owuraku Ampofo (Head of 3 Sports and Sports Content Creator), Yaw Ofosu Larbi (Head Of Features with Sporty FM), Philip Sitsofe Atsrim (Sports Analyst), and Alexis Laura Daniels (Sports Journalist and Sports Content Creator)!
