Reviewing Darkua’s beautiful Never Too Late EP

On March 20th, 2025, Ghanaian-Nigerian singer and songwriter Darkua released her much-anticipated EP, Never Too Late.

What do we make of the Never Too Late EP by Darkua? Well…Jamie says!!!

The impressive six-track R&B and Afrosoul project starts with her amazing vocals immediately on full display on the self-explanatory “Love Is A Beautiful Thing”, and then also on the next song, “On My Way“. The third single, “Tori” gives us a song reminiscent of the early 2000s type of R&B music, before she tells us how she feels when she sees a certain someone with “Her” on the fourth single. The fifth song sees the artist bare it all on “Confessions” before she wraps up this wonderful body of work, on a great footing with the powerful emotion-evoking “Miiya”!
