First edition of AfroWest esports competition to kick off in September 2025
The maiden edition of the AfroWest Esports tournament takes place in September 2025, with the finest from the continent set to battle it out for huge bragging rights and more!

The event, which was first brought to our attention in a tweet from Esports Ghana, is powered by the African Confederation of Esports (ACES) and will see the best of Africa take each other on as representatives from La Cote D’Ivoire, Senegal, Togo, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, The Gambia, Mauritania, Nigeria, Benin and Ghana boot their controllers to see which nation can wear the crown at the end of the competition!

When is the tournament taking place, and can gamers still register?
The competition takes place from 25-28 September 2025! To participate, all gamers will have to do is simply get in touch with their country’s official association or federation and get registered! The games that participants will play include Mobile Legends, eFootball Mobile, Tekken 8, PUBG Mobile, and FC 25!
