Gideon Kojo Boakye lands sterling nomination at 21st Africa Movie Academy Awards
Ghanaian actor Gideon Kojo Boakye has been nominated in the Best Actor in a Supporting Role category for his performance in the movie “Two Of A Kind” at the 21st Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).

What do we know of Gideon Kojo Boakye as an actor? Well… Jamie Says!!!
The actor received this nomination due to his performance in the movie, which was directed by Shirley Frimpong-Manso in 2024, in which he starred alongside Arion Amon, Araba Dansowaa, Adjetey Annan, Adomaa Agyemang, Jessica Larny, Chiderah David, Rita Dominic, Sena Agbeko, and Akosua Agyepong, among others.

It is a significant feather in the cap of the actor, who officially burst onto the big screen with his roles in Ekwa and Gold Coast Lounge in 2020, before featuring in Two Of A Kind, Nine, Pawn, and I Was Here in 2024, as well as Check-In in 2025!! He has also starred in series such as Tendana, To Have and To Hold, as well as Madam, and the With You Every Moment web series with Cowbell Coffee, among others!
This year’s ceremony will take place on the 9th of November 2025 at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Ikeja – Sheraton, inside Lagos, Nigeria. Also nominated for the awards is the Ghanaian movie Last Stop in the prestigious Best Film category, and Adjetey Annan in the Best Actor In A Leading Role category for his performance in Last Stop.
