Shika seeks for the recipe with her maiden single “I wish I knew”

Ghanaian musician Shika hopes to hit the ground running with her best foot forward as she drops her brand new single “I wish I knew” in March 2026!

What do we know about Shika and her journey to become an artist?

Born Christabel Naa Shika Addy, the artist begun her musical journey when she discovered her passion for it during her childhood, and after serving as the entertainment prefect in Adonten Senior High School, as well as auditioning for major talent shows such as Mentor, Cues and Lyrics and Vodafone Icons among others, is finally ready to let the world bear witness to her undeniable skill set and prowess.

Having signed on to the Destiny Home Records label, she’s ready to announce herself to the world with I Wish I Knew, a real-life situation about a man who’s unsure about his feelings for her, and is naturally hesitant, masterfully co-written by herself and Kobina Obiri Baah (who also happens to be the head of Destiny Home Records), and produced by Smooth Beats! The single is scheduled for release on the 6th of March, 2026!
