Here’s why MC Maximo is the spark you need to make your event lit!
If you’re looking for a fresh face in the entertainment space to light up your event and turn the party atmosphere’s volume beyond the maximum, then look no further than MC Maximo!
Why should we be focusing our attention on MC Maximo? And what sets him apart from the rest of the crowd? Well…Jamie Says!!!
Born Martin Quarshie, this talented individual from Odumase Krobo in the Eastern Region of Ghana, first cut his teeth dancing during his time as a student in Adisadel College, and went on to further hone his talents working with Lynx Entertainment in Accra, and then, after heading to the Far East, specifically The People’s Republic of China, to study Computer Science at the Harbin Institute of Technology, he got his break as an emcee alongside his partner in partying, DJ TheBryteGuy! He counts his hosting of the AfroPianoAntix 1 and 2 events as his major breakthrough points in the industry, and also considers being featured in the Link Up pool parties 1 and 2 as huge turning points.
His infectious charisma and undeniable skill have allowed him to work with the likes of DJ Neptun from Nigeria, as well as the privilege of hosting events at the Bus Stop Club in Vietnam and Sentosa Beach in Singapore. He is currently scheduled to emcee the Akosombo Street Carnival in Ghana this December (More on that here). In the words of the man himself, what sets him apart is “my delivery on stage, my warm way of engaging the crowd and my humour, which speaks a lot about my professionalism“.
The creative, who is also the CEO of Maxi Biz Trading (a company which primarily trades goods between Asia and Africa), as well as being a teacher and choreographer, takes pride in being versatile, stating “the ability to read the room and adjust my tone, style and transition to fit the crowd’s response makes me unique“. Talk about being a man of many talents!
