BlacVolta launch gamechanging revolutionary app and VISA card

Ghanaian Digital Media and entertainment brand BlacVolta look set to shake up the fintech and lifestyle industries, with the launch of the BlacVolta app, the BlacVolta lifestyle program, and the BlacVolta VISA Lifestyle card.

The launch, which took place at the just-ended Africa Fintech Summit which was held from the 8th-10th of October 2025 in Accra, Ghana, was geared at changing the way creatives , not just in Ghana, but across the continent of Africa, earn from their craft.

In the words of the brand itself, “The BlacVolta App introduces a new frontier where entertainment meets fintech—connecting users to Ghana’s vibrant lifestyle, events, nightlife, and hospitality ecosystem in one seamless digital experience. Complementing the app is the BlacVolta Visa Lifestyle Card, a premium lifestyle and payment solution powered by Visa, supported by First Atlantic Bank, and developed in partnership with Shrinq. The card offers members exclusive benefits, including discounts at top venues, express entry, and curated experiences—redefining access and convenience across Africa’s entertainment scene.

In describing the launch of the products as a “bold step for African ownership and innovation” the CEO and Founder of BlacVolta, Joseph Adjei (who was recently recognised as the Media Personality of the year (Digital and Social Media) at the 9th edition of the FortyUnder40 awards in September), went on to add “This is more than a product launch—it’s a statement of intent. We’re building a system that connects culture, creativity, and commerce while empowering Africans to take ownership of their lifestyle experiences.
