Cool Black to emerge from the shadows with debut EP, 6 AM

Showing that he’s a talent whose talent knows no limits, the Ghanaian-Nigerian photographer known as PhotoHumour is ready to grace us with his musical prowess, as he drops his debut EP “6 AM” under the name Cool Black!

What do we know about this 6 AM EP by Cool Black?

In the words of the artist (born Franklin Amaye), the title of the EP “isn’t just a title, it’s personal. I was born at 6 a.m., and this project represents a full-circle moment for me. It’s about stepping into something I’ve always felt called to do, but have avoided for a long time. Now feels like the right time”. 6 AM is a 3-song project featuring Peace Of Mind, Do For Love, and Chastised! All the songs were both mixed and mastered by A-swxg.

The 6 AM EP will be released on Saturday, the 28th of March 2026, which coincidentally, also happens to be the artist’s birthday!
