Ess Thee Legend reintroduces herself with the launch of her new EP, Bloom

Ghanaian musician Ess Thee Legend is back to bless our airwaves and streaming platforms with her new EP, Bloom, which is set to be released this June!

What do we know about the artist and this EP?

The exceptional artist, born Maame Esi Essilfie, is gracing us with this 5-track EP and is providing us with great content “that explores the emotional complexity of intimacy in all its forms, from heartbreak and emotional distance to sensual connection and romantic longing.” The singer, songwriter, and rapper, kicks off the project with Couldn’t Cry, which is “a haunting reflection on emotional disconnection and the quiet devastation of watching love slowly fade away,” and with the next single being No More Texts, “a track that explores physical intimacy, longing, and the desire for presence in an increasingly digital world“, followed up by Notice Me, which “captures the thrill and vulnerability of wanting to be seen”, and then Kyekyere Me blends “warmth, chemistry, and Ghanaian sonic textures into a magnetic Afro-fusion moment”, and it then masterfully wraps the body of work with Never Work Out, a single that “confronts the painful realization that some relationships cannot survive despite emotional investment“. It’s safe to say, it is truly a beautiful body of work!
