You may have missed it on social media, but a young Ghanaian creative has gotten herself trending for all the right reasons, and she’s none other than the founder of the Handmade By JenAD brand, Jennifer Frimpomaa Yeboah!
Here’s why Jennifer Frimpomaa Yeboah is garnering a wonderful reputation for herself!
The 22-year-old Ghanaian has caught the attention of not just lovers of all things crochet but also the eyes and minds of football fans of Manchester United, and indeed some key figures within the club and its main shirt sponsor, Snapdragon, due to her incredible design of a Bruno Fernandes-inspired kit, where she made a red version of the club’s current away Kit (which is white). This project took her a mind-blowing 54 hours to complete, but as we can all see, it was definitely worth it!
What makes this feat even more impressive is that she learned how to crochet at 9 years old by observing (and managed to make herself a small hat in the process), but kept the skill hidden until a discussion with a friend prompted her to disclose what she could do, and the rest, as they say, is history!
