Accra Hearts Of Oak appoint Julius Ben Emunah as the club’s new Managing Director
One of the biggest clubs in Ghana, Accra Hearts of Oak, has announced the appointment of Julius Ben Emunah as the club’s new Managing Director.
What do we expect Julius Ben Emunah to bring to the table in his new role?
The appointment of Emunah by the Phobians seems to tick all the right boxes. He steps into this role having excelled in his previous roles as the Director of Competitions, Club Licensing Manager, and Regional Manager with the Ghana Football Association for over 9 years (more on that here), and also as a 6-year stint as the Safety and Security Consultant with the Confederation of African Football, a role which has seen him contribute significantly to the success of events such as the CAF Interclub Finals, AFCON Qualifiers, the African Nations Championships (CHAN) and the African Games among others ( read more on that here).
With this amount of valuable experience and combined with his degree in Environmental Science from the University of Cape Coast and a Global Master’s in Sports Management and Legal Skills with FC Barcelona from the ISDE Law Business School in Spain, fans of the Accra-based club and Ghanaian football will be eager to see just how this alumnus of Adisadel College will transform their fortunes and raise the standards at the helm of affairs, as he oversees the club’s administrative, commercial and and sporting operations, and while also working closely with the technical staff, players, supporters, sponsors and stakeholders to ensure sustainable growth and long-term success of one of Ghana’s finest sporting institutions.
